Strawberry Jam
This is by far the easiest jam you'll ever make. It is made using only three ingredients, can be made as sweet as you desire and to top it off, is 100% good for you.
Equipment
- 1 Small Pan
- Stovetop
Ingredients
- 2.5 cups Frozen Strawberries
- 1/4 cup Chia Seeds
- 2-3 tbsp Honey (can also use maple or coconut nectar)
Instructions
- Place frozen strawberries into pan and turn stove onto low heat. Cover with lid and stir occassionally until strawberries have mostly thawed.
- Once thawed, remove from heat, add honey and stir well, then add chia seeds and stir well.
- Leave lid on to cool down and stir occassionally to ensure ingredients all emulsify together well.
- Once cooled, place into glass jar with lid in the fridge. It will keep for up to one week in the fridge (ours is always devoured in a few days!)
Notes
- Feel free to adjust the ratios of strawberries to chia seeds until you get your desired thickness.
- I usually add 2 Tbsp honey but if you like your jam sweeter, add more!
- You can use any frozen berries that you have on hand for this recipe, but I love strawberry the best!
