Chocolate Smoothie

Just when I thought I had all of my favorites covered, I created this one and friends, IT IS MAGNIFICENT.
This is my go-to 'treat' for when I'm craving chocolate because it hits that sweet spot perfectly, without the nasty blood sugar spike and in all honesty, it is absolute perfection 💘
The boys and I shared this for breakfast (well, I had most of it and they had a spoonful each 😂) but you could have it forbreakfast, halve it as two snack-size serves or even as a healthy kiddo'sdessert! (just be wary of giving cocoa/cacao to kids at night as it can disrupttheir sleep).
Summer's here and most of these ingredients you should have on hand so now's the time to give it a try, I would LOOOVE to hear your feedback. 😘

  • 1-2 Medium Frozen Banana
  • 2 Tbsp Cocoa
  • 1-2 Tbsp Honey (or 2 Medjool dates)
  • 2 Tbsp Coconut Yoghurt (or yoghurt of choice)
  • 1 Cup Almond Milk (or milk or choice)
  • 1 Tbsp Chia Seeds
  • 1 Tbsp Nut Butter of Choice (if desired)


  • Throw all ingredients into a blender (I love my @vitamix ) and blend very well.
    Once blended let it sit there for 1-2 minutes to thicken further.
    Pour into glass and top with desired toppings, mine were:
    1 Tbsp Grated Dark Chocolate + Chocolate Pieces ( @pana_organic )
    1 Tbsp Cacao Nibs (adult upgrade)
